My name is Karla Jackson and I am the Owner/Director of Next Generation Early Learning Center. I am very excited and eager to work with your children to ensure they are kindergarten ready and begin their school journey with a strong foundation. I have a Master of Science in Psychology, with a Specialization in Child and Adolescent Development and a Bachelor of Science in Child Development.

I have worked in education for 20+ years. I have owned an in-home childcare center, have served as a pre-kindergarten teacher for 10+ years, and have been an Early Childhood Director for four years. In addition, I have worked as a teacher for middle and high school students and worked with at-risk populations for two years. I have served on the Board of Directors for the DeSoto Youth Soccer Association and for Christian Academy of Greater St. Louis.

Establishing a strong foundation in a child’s early years contributes greatly to their mental, emotional, and social development. A team of loving teachers and family members, working together to provide consistent and positive guidance, will put your child on a path for success in school. My name is Kayla Jackson I am the mother of a precious little girl, Kaliya. I have worked with children for over 11 years beginning as a teen and into young adulthood. I have worked as a nanny, a preschool assistant, a lead teacher, and as a virtual teacher due to the recent changes of Covid-19.

love being creative and believe children can express themselves through the fun of learning and being silly. I am currently in my last year of school to obtain a BS in Psychology and a Minor in Criminal Justice. I’m excited to help prepare your children for kindergarten.
